The Whole Story Behind SH7

About The Building…

Located in the quaint town of Delmont in beautiful, rural Westmoreland County, our building was built in 1926 as Peoples National Bank. In 1931, due to hard times from the stock market crash, the bank closed its doors.

It was later occupied by the Delmont Fire Department, where they remained for decades. They can now be found on Route 66. Years later, it became a real estate agency and then stood vacant for almost a decade.

When we arrived in January 2019, we completely designed and renovated the inside of the building. We opened in September of that year initially as a wedding decor resale shop to compliment Jodi’s other business, Wedding Flea Market. Although being a wedding resale shop was a wonderful experience, it was a difficult business to sustain - especially with the pandemic.

However, with the time and care put into the appearance of the stunning building, we reopened as this gorgeous event venue, offering a beautiful place to hold meaningful celebrations.

About The Team…

Jodi Colella, the owner, is a natural-born entrepreneur. She has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology but found her strengths working creatively. After planning her own wedding in 2006, Jodi founded a multi-service wedding business, where she offered planning, coordination, DJ services and graphic design.

She founded the popular Facebook group, Pittsburgh Wedding Community in 2012, where newlyweds and engaged individuals can support each other, buy and sell used wedding decor, as well as look for and connect with potential wedding vendors. It is the most popular social media wedding network in Western Pennsylvania with over 30,000 members.

In 2014, Jodi originated the wedding item resale event concept, Wedding Flea Market. She saw the inconveniences of buying and selling via Facebook, so she created an event where brides and newlyweds could buy and sell directly in an upscale ”flea market” setting.

It is through her work on social media that she was accepted as a Facebook-appointed global lead for Community Leadership Circles From Facebook program and is also a certified Facebook Community Manager. In 2019, she was accepted into IncubateHER - a women's entrepreneurial program at Chatham University as well as a member of CWE.

Jodi lives just past the border of Murrysville and is happily married with three beautiful children.

Our venue manager, Brian McClain is truly someone you can count on. He has been in the industry for over 30 years. He is a big creative like Jodi, however, he is also an experienced, talented, self-taught woodworker who can create unique backdrops, custom decor and so much more. Many of our installations and improvements were done by Brian.

Clients LOVE him because of his energy, helpfulness, and professionalism. He will make you smile while making your event flawless.

Jodi and Brian go many years back and share a very special friendship.

Although a fellow Franklin Regional graduate like Jodi, Brian now resides in Johnstown with his husband and their gorgeous son.
